The History of Holland Financial Retirement Planning & Investment Management
David Holland, CEO and Founder of Holland Financial, graduated from the University of North Florida in 1990. In 1991 he began his career as a CPA working for an international accounting firm. While auditing insurance companies and healthcare organizations, he developed a sense of objectivity and independence – building blocks upon which he would later construct his own financial planning business.
In 1997, David decided to liquidate his 401(k) account and use the proceeds to fund the establishment of his own financial services firm. His dream of providing sound planning advice to Florida retirees and baby boomers soon became a reality.
Continuing Education was, and still is, very important to David. In those early years, he studied diligently to add credentials to his CPA designation, while still operating his full-time business. Along the way, David also earned a Masters Degree in Financial Services.
In July of 2009 Holland Financial continued to grow… opening its first branch office in Lake Mary, Florida. A Palm Coast location was added in 2010 and other Central Florida areas are being considered for future branch locations.
