Retirement Planning Services

We are talking about your future, so it is important to us that you feel comfortable with all the information provided as part of your retirement plan. One way to do this is for you to fully understand the products and services we offer. You will find definitions of basic financial terms here on our website. We are not just planners, we are also educators. We believe each meeting is an opportunity to teach, and we always use easy-to-understand terminology and analogies.

At your Planning and Recommendations meeting we will provide detailed information about the specific product carriers—as that information varies from client to client, as well as details regarding the investment strategies.

Income Strategies

The lifeline of a retirement plan is a steady source of lasting income. For many of us it would be nearly impossible to retire if we were not able to replace some (or all) of our current salary. Our plans include income strategies which take into consideration variables, such as unforeseen life events (death of a spouse, need for long-term care), market conditions and changes, and inflation. The overall purpose of our plans is to see that our clients' financial needs are addressed, and that the recommendations we have prepared are flexible enough to respond to new and changing circumstances.

Protection Planning

While the stock market can be a great source of growth, and a hedge against inflation, we are mindful that it can also be a source of tremendous stress and risk to your nest egg. We often find that potential clients have too much of their money in the stock market. It is important to have a plan that provides income and allows for growth, but also offers protection from events that we can't predict. We specialize in providing recommendations which help you balance the need for safety, income, and growth.

Estate Planning

Estate planning is something everyone should consider. It is no longer reserved for the elite. You have built a legacy that should be preserved, protected, and passed on. Your estate plan is specific to your situation; but no matter the size, it should include items such as: a will, power of attorney, living will, and in some cases, a trust. We can serve as a trustee, or can be listed as a successor trustee, on certain types of trusts. If a client becomes incapacitated or dies with arrangements in place, we assume the role of trustee to ensure the estate is properly managed for the benefit of our client and his/her beneficiaries. Our clients can be comforted with the knowledge that their final wishes are carried out, with their legacy fulfilled to the best of our ability, through our continued management and sound stewardship of their assets.
